Senior Engineer

Senior Civil Engineer - New Braunfels or Austin, TXTrihydro Corporation is seeking a senior civil engineer to join its New Braunfels or Austin, TX office. The role sits within our Infrastructure and Natural Resources Business Unit and supports clients across many industries by delivering effective, responsive, and safe solutions. You will assist with developing project solutions and addressing infrastructure needs and improvements for water authorities, municipalities, and private clients. Responsibilities include: Mentoring project team members Managing projects Coordinating with clients Preparing proposals and fee estimates Performing and reviewing design calculations Supervising figure preparation Preparing plan sets Design modeling Preparing technical memorandums and reports Preparing and reviewing project specifications Developing construction cost estimates Preparing permit applications Supporting business development activities for a variety of infrastructure-related projects This role is for you if: You have 15+ years of relevant engineering design experience, such as designing civil infrastructure and water and/or wastewater systems, stormwater drainage, rural and urban roads, water resources, and site development projects You are a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas or can obtain licensure within 6 months Company culture is important to you, and you appreciate a work environment that prioritizes people, including by offering mentoring and career growth opportunities You value teamwork to achieve project goals You possess strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness, as well as a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables You have strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with project team members You understand the importance of time management and possess excellent organizational skills You have an interest in and ability to travel to client locations and other Trihydro offices nationwide You have an interest in maintaining existing client relationships, as well as developing new client relationships At Trihydro, our approach to work is honest and hard-working.
