Job Title: Field Service Manager Job Description The Service Manager will perform a leadership role in developing, implementing, and monitoring service plans. The Service Manager will exercise a managerial function in supervising and managing the service staff/department. They will be in direct contact (onsite and offsite) with customers. Responsibilities * Prepare service reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. * Manage annual service department. * Organize appropriate and timely service requests. * Contract with service providers. * Analyze service and support failures. * Create preventive maintenance (PM) service plans. * Run Temperature Uniformity Tests per industry standards (AMS 2750). * Responsible for warranty parts shipments, coordination of returned material for the sites, and vendor repairs of returned material from the field. * Coordinate and plan maintenance events with the customer to ensure high availability and reliability of equipment. * Travel to customers to build relationships, handle emergency troubleshooting, and repairs. Travel may require less than 20% for customer and vendor onsite visits. * Present upgrade opportunities to customers. * Supervise field installations. Essential Skills * Understanding of high and low voltage schematics, drive systems, temperature controllers. * Knowledge of P&ID Loop (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram Loop). * Basic PLC programming and troubleshooting. * Supervisory skills. * Customer and vendor interaction. * Experience with engineering schematics, SolidWorks, and ISO 9001 procedures. * Good communication skills with staff, vendors, and customers. Additional Skills & Qualifications * At least 5 years of work-related experience or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred. * Hands-on experience in field service functions is a must. * Experience with gas burner systems, thermal mechanics, and welding. * Experience with software such as SolidWorks, Office 365, PLC, and Honeywell. * Ability to select, train, assign, schedule, and coach service employees. * Ability to mentor field engineers and support sales managers. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr. Salary + Commission We provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and a 401k plan with 4% company match. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Pico Rivera,CA.
