We are searching for individuals with fine dining experience who are highly motivated, reliable and will thrive in a team-oriented environment. ******We offer competitive starting pay and full benefit package after 90 days of employment. ****** Job Summary: The Baker will be responsible for preparing, cooking and garnishing various foods efficiently within the established "Armani" standards in every aspect. Essential Job Functions: Maintain food storage and handling procedures Maintain food quality and nutritional standards Perform technical culinary food production, portion control, and service standards Follow production schedule Weighing and measuring ingredients Prepare and bake a variety of artisan breads, rolls, and pastries using traditional and modern techniques. Look after the production of daily bread and pasta Strong knowledge of dough types, hydration levels, and shaping techniques. Create a wide range of pasta types, including filled pasta (ravioli, tortellini, agnolotti), long pasta (tagliatelle, pappardelle, spaghetti), and unique shapes that complement our seasonal menus Ensure consistency, texture, and flavor in every dish Maintain a clean and organized workspace following health and safety standards Maintain cooking temperature, product cooling and labeling Lifting and moving equipment to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator Maintains a clean and sanitary work station, equipment and Distribute supplies utensils, and portable equipment Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at work station to ensure a smooth service period Follows proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes Properly store, rotate, and manage all food products following local, state, federal, and company guidelines and procedures Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Required Experience: Minimum 3 year culinary training and experience; (or) equivalent combination of education and experience Previous experience as a baker in a professional kitchen (fine dining experience a plus) Strong knowledge of different types of bread and pasta, dough hydration, and production techniques Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures Excellent knowledge of food preparation and fine dining cooking
