Financial Reporting Accountant Qualifications: BS Accounting/Finance/related field. Active CPA or a strong commitment to obtaining one. 3+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) or a large publicly traded company. Financial statement preparation & SEC reporting expertise. Strong understanding of SOX, COSO, and risk assessment practices. Financial Reporting Accountant Responsibilities: Assist with consolidated financial reports (10-K, 10-Q, etc.). Support consolidation controls and reconciliations. Aid in XBRL/HTML review for SEC filings. Conduct technical accounting research and assist with ad-hoc projects.
