About Chama Mama: Chama mama is a collection of cozy family restaurants that pays tribute to the Georgian culture and way of life. Our menu is reflective of the diverse influences that have shaped the Georgian nation and is informed by the home-made traditions of an authentically artisanal culture. General Overview: Runners are responsible for ensuring guests' food is brought out to them with accuracy, the proper temperature, and within a timely manner.   General Duties and Responsibilities: Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for new arrivals. Reset tables with clean utensils, napkins, and condiments to ensure a polished dining experience. Refill water glasses and offer water upon guests' arrival. Assist guests with special requests, such as providing highchairs, extra napkins, or other needs. Proactively address customer needs and communicate feedback to servers or managers. Maintain a clean and organized dining area by promptly clearing debris and addressing spills. Sweep and mop floors, empty trash bins, and dispose of waste as required. Replenish tabletop supplies, including napkins and condiments, to ensure readiness for service. Deliver food and beverages to tables, assisting servers during busy periods. Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery. Work closely with hosts/hostesses to manage seating arrangements and optimize customer flow. Collaborate with the team to create a seamless and efficient dining experience for guests. Adhere to health and safety guidelines, maintaining high standards of sanitation and hygiene throughout the dining area. Requirements: May be required to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects up to 50 lbs. Fluent in written and spoken English. Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously and for extended periods as required to perform essential job functions. Ability to perform and thrive in fast-paced environment. The ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal direction. The ability to work independently or as part of a team. Able to approach their work with a sense of ownership and urgency.
