Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a well-respected law firm is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal with strong Chapter 11 experience to support its legal team on a long-term temporary basis (6-9 months). This position is fully remote, but candidates must reside in Southern California (Orange County preferred) to attend occasional in-person meetings if needed. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Chapter 11 bankruptcy procedures, filings, and case management, with experience assisting attorneys in complex restructuring matters. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and file Chapter 11 bankruptcy petitions, schedules, statements, and motions Draft and review legal documents, including disclosure statements, reorganization plans, and court pleadings Manage case deadlines, hearings, and electronic filings in federal bankruptcy courts Conduct legal research and cite-check bankruptcy filings Communicate with clients, creditors, court personnel, and opposing counsel regarding case status and documentation Assist attorneys in case preparation, including docket monitoring, calendaring, and document organization Support adversary proceedings, asset sales, and creditor negotiations as required Qualifications: 5+ years of bankruptcy paralegal experience, with a strong focus on Chapter 11 cases Expertise in CM/ECF e-filing for U.S. Bankruptcy Courts Familiarity with bankruptcy software such as Best Case, PACER, or similar Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining responsiveness and professionalism Compensation & Work Arrangement: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience Fully remote work with occasional in-person meetings in Orange County, CA Long-term temporary position (6-9 months), with the possibility of extension based on firm needs All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
