As a Labor & Employment Attorney, your practice will be focused on representing California employers in diverse employment matters from class actions and wage-and-hour disputes to employee classification, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and more. The ideal candidate will bring 4-8 years of experience in employment litigation, with a strong desire for trial or arbitration work, and a proven ability to manage complex employment law cases. Key responsibilities of the Labor & Employment Attorney include: Representing private and public employers in complex employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, FLSA, PAGA, and others. Arguing motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda. Depositions, managing discovery activities, and preparing for trials or arbitrations. Advising employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws, including COVID-19 regulations, ADA/FEHA compliance, FMLA/CFRA leave laws, and employee privacy. Drafting EEOC position statements, DFEH responses, and conducting witness interviews. Experience in labor relations, including labor negotiations, grievances, arbitrations, and administrative hearings, is an additional advantage.
