Senior Data Analyst

Account Manager & Recruiting Consultant at IRIS Consulting Corporation "NO VENDORS NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE" Title: Senior Data Analyst Responsibilities: Develop and maintain source-to-target mapping documents. Analyze business processes, anticipate requirements, and identify areas for improvement through data analysis and profiling. Gather and validate business reporting and data extract requirements from multiple stakeholders. Define accurate data standards and create appropriate data models to support business needs. Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure data accuracy and optimal utilization. Identify non-functional requirements that impact data design and performance. Break down product features into user stories and actively participate in scrum teams. Work with ETL teams, QA analysts, and DBAs to ensure solutions meet all requirements. Conduct meetings and presentations to communicate insights and findings. Manage projects, develop plans, and monitor progress to align with business objectives. Act as a liaison between stakeholders and users, ensuring solutions meet business needs. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in software development and database applications, with a focus on data strategy, integration, modeling, and architecture. Strong proficiency in SQL and query tools. Experience in data analysis, profiling, mapping, and quality assurance. Background in working with large datasets and data-driven decision-making. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with logical, physical, dimensional, or relational data models (ERwin experience preferred). Experience with data warehouses, data marts, and ETL processes. Exposure to reporting, analytics, or business intelligence tools. Knowledge of Snowflake, Python, and Spark is a plus. Required Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to influence stakeholders and align data solutions with business goals. Familiarity with technology and data management principles. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering results. Strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
