As the Vice President of Merchandising at NYC Alliance Company LLC, you will lead the merchandising strategy and execution for our diverse portfolio of brands, including prominent names in women's apparel. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for driving strategic vision, overseeing product assortments, and ensuring alignment with overall business goals. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product development, marketing, and sales teams to create innovative merchandise solutions that resonate with our target customers.Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive merchandising strategy aligned with the company's objectives, maximizing brand positioning and market penetration Lead the merchandising team in analyzing market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform product development and assortment planning Collaborate with executive leadership to establish long-term goals and drive sales and profitability for the merchandising division Oversee the planning and execution of seasonal product assortments, ensuring they meet customer needs and drive revenue growth Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and overseeing performance to ensure product quality and timely delivery Utilize data analytics to monitor sales performance and inventory levels, making informed decisions to optimize merchandise flow and assortment effectiveness Foster a culture of innovation within the merchandising team, encouraging the exploration of new ideas and approaches to enhance the customer experience Represent the merchandising function in executive meetings, presenting strategies, performance metrics, and insights to stakeholders Mentor and develop team members, fostering career growth and expertise within the merchandising function Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, fashion management, or relevant field; MBA preferred 10+ years of merchandising experience, with significant experience in a leadership role within the retail or fashion industry Deep understanding of market trends and customer insights, particularly in women's apparel Proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability through effective merchandising strategies Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Excellent analytical and financial acumen; proficient in data analysis and interpretation Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing talent Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization Benefits Competitive compensation packages Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA Retirement Savings Plan Match Annual Salary $200,000 - $250,000 Summer Fridays Discounts and More!
