Apply Here: Career Immersion & Leadership Institute - Become A CILI Fellow The CILI Fellowship Program is dedicated to sourcing college students enrolled in 4-year institutions, teaching, and engaging them in career skills and competency development programming, along with experiences to create a pipeline of diverse high potential talent, ready for opportunities within companies throughout the New Orleans Region and Louisiana for mid to high wage careers in industries that transform and facilitate economic growth. Our Architectural Program is a 6-8 week program, Summer 2025! This program offers a unique opportunity for students to gain valuable, real-world experience early in their careers. This Architectural program allows participants to work alongside our skilled architects, designers, and project managers, gaining hands-on experience while applying their academic knowledge to practical situations. Interns will assist with various stages of the design and construction process, including preparing presentation materials, schematic designs, design development, and contract documents. Primary tools include Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and InDesign. This program is located in New Orleans East. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with design architects, project architects, and project managers. Assist in all phases of building design, from concept to contract documentation. Prepare presentation materials using industry-standard software. Contribute to schematic designs and design development efforts. Support sustainability and compliance with applicable building codes. Qualifications Must be a resident of New Orleans. Must qualify for the Summer Youth Program. Complete a drug test and background screening. Active college student enrolled in a 2 or 4-year program. Architecture, Engineering, or Design Major. Foundational understanding of architectural design. Basic knowledge of building systems, construction materials, and methods. Working knowledge of relevant codes and a willingness to learn further. Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop. Decent communication and interpersonal skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
