Positon: IT Infrastructure Engineer Location: Reston Type: Full Time Key Responsibilities: â— Design, deploy, and manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud services. Ensure that infrastructure solutions meet business needs and are scalable, reliable, and secure.â— Perform regular system administration tasks, including monitoring, patching, backups, and troubleshooting of servers, networks, and related hardware and software.â— Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Ensure network performance, availability, and security across all company sites.â— Implement and enforce security best practices across all infrastructure components. Conduct regular security assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.â— Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues. Use monitoring tools to ensure optimal operation and to prevent potential disruptions.â— Create and maintain detailed documentation of the infrastructure environment, including configurations, procedures, and network diagrams. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible.â— Work closely with other IT team members, developers, and business units to support infrastructure needs and align IT infrastructure with business goals.â— Provide advanced technical support for infrastructure-related issues. Assist in diagnosing and resolving complex IT problems in a timely manner. Requirements: â— Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.â— 1-2 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a similar role.â— Proven experience with server, network, and storage technologies.â— Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).â— Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.â— Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.â— Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and automation tools.â— Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
