Lolita is an agave and sugar cane distillates focused cocktail program. We take pride in creating quality cocktails. We have carefully researched and selected unique tequilas, mezcals and rums. You will not see any tequilas that have additives behind our bar. All of the juices we use are made daily in house. Our program strives to have the freshest ingredients possible. We are looking for bartenders who are passionate about food and beverage. We are looking for someone who wants to grow in the industry and learn more about agave and sugar distillates. We are looking for an individual with at least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, creative and professional environment. Seeking a hospitality driven and enthusiastic individual. POSITION SUMMARY: Must complete Lolita bartending training and learn/memorize cocktail specs. Actively takes orders, conducts full and complete food/beverage service, and monitors guests' dining experience. Interacts with guests, fellow team members, and managers in a polite, courteous manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Anticipate and accommodate the needs of the guests. Maintain general cleanliness of the bar. Provide professional and exceptional service. Present menus, answers question, and make suggestions for all food and beverage items. Inform guests of all food and beverage specials. Required to solicit any allergy or dietary restrictions from each guest. Accurately enter all orders into the POS system and follows proper cash/payment card procedures. Ensure the delivery of all food and beverage to the guests. Follow supervisor's instructions, communicate with and support co-workers while being a team player. Possess in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus and the company. Serve all alcoholic beverages in accordance with all state regulations and alcohol awareness training standards. Complies with Department of Health and company sanitation standards. Work as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team members. Accurately completes all end-of-shift financial procedures. Communicate the needs of the guests to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House support staff, managers, and chefs. Properly sets-up bar and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management, including: * Ensure bar and bar seats are clean and free of debris * Set bar with proper settings * Wipe down chairs, tables, and banquettes * Stock side-stations with prescribed supplies * Perform opening side-work as prescribed * Perform closing side-work as prescribed * Report all breakage, and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management. Attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings. Attend and participate in any training sessions or departmental meetings. Learn by listening, observing other team members, and sharing knowledge while leading by example. Portray a positive and professional attitude. Work as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team members. Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned. EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE: Previous hospitality experience. Previous bartending experience.
