Senior Project Manager - Rockville, MD Onsite required - Monday-Wednesday each week Government Agency is seeking a Senior Project Manager, as follows: The contractor will follow a hybrid work schedule, several days onsite and several days remote each week. Must be local to Rockville, MD. Must have a minimum of 12 years of project management experience along with a PMP certification. Experience with local/state government agencies is a major plus. Rate is highly competitive, so please give us your best rate. Scope of Work: Contractor will provide project management support to the Enterprise Office of Project Management. Contractor will provide candidate(s) to: Oversee information technology projects of the highest sensitivity and complexity. Execute project plans and revise as authorized to meet changing needs and requirements. Evaluate the goals, risks, and constraints of projects to determine the most efficient and effective project management methodology (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid) to follow. Assist stakeholders with identifying and documenting business problems and project goals through the completion of business cases. Facilitate communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making processes among multiple stakeholders and proactively remove barriers. Ensure project needs and objectives are clearly communicated, and teams have all necessary information and resources to complete tasks. Adhere to the defined EPM governance process. Maintain documentation that reflects any changes to scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Translate and document conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements and user stories in a clear and comprehensive manner. Proactively keep stakeholders and senior management abreast of the status of projects and have the ability to respond to status requests on demand. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies. Contractor must possess at least twelve (12) years of professional, hands-on experience in the information technology field as a project or program manager, with a Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university. At the time of application, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required. Contract staff will work side-by-side with County staff to complete assignments. Requirement: One contractor for approximately one year (2000 hours) with option to extend. EVALUATION CRITERIA AND WEIGHT: All proposed candidates will be rated by the following criteria. If candidate(s) are selected, the Task Order Evaluation Criteria include experience as a senior project manager successfully delivering complex, technical projects to include developing and executing comprehensive project plans. #J-18808-Ljbffr
