Quality Engineer Web Based Application

Job Description We are looking for a Quality Engineer with experience in web-based applications to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance , test automation, and database testing. This role requires hands-on experience with PHP frameworks, Oracle databases, and API testing tools to ensure high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for web-based applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing using tools like Selenium, PHPUnit, Cypress, and JMeter. Work closely with developers to identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities . Write and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts to validate database transactions and ensure data integrity. Conduct API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools to verify RESTful services. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD for automated testing. Monitor and analyze application performance , identifying potential bottlenecks in databases and backend services . Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field . 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance , preferably in web-based applications . Strong expertise in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter . Experience with Oracle databases , including writing SQL queries, PL/SQL scripts, and understanding schema design . Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, PHPUnit, Cypress, JMeter). Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and SoapUI. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD). Experience with performance testing and identifying database bottlenecks is a plus. Skills: Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies . Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
