The Role: Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Angular Developer (Hybrid) to serve our diverse base of global clients. Work Authorization: Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.) Responsibilities: Design and develop responsive, high-performance web applications using Angular. Implement reusable, maintainable, and scalable UI components. Collaborate with backend developers and other teams to ensure seamless integration with APIs. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve UI-related issues to enhance the user experience. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development and frontend frameworks. Collaborate closely with designers to create a seamless user experience. Qualifications: 8+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development with a strong focus on Angular. Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience with Angular 19+, TypeScript and building scalable Angular applications. Proficiency in state management libraries such as NgRx or RxJS. Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first design. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating UI with backend services. Experience with version control tools like Git. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Jest. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
