Can you boil down large datasets to identify trends and craft a story explaining them? Do you get excited by designing repeatable processes and implementing controls which ensure they run as planned? The Model Implementation and Production team is responsible for implementation and execution of credit models, analytics, and reporting; this team is a unit of U.S. Bank's Credit Risk Administration division and executes models to estimate credit losses for portfolios including C&I (commercial and industrial), CRE (commercial real estate), retail mortgages, home equity, installment, credit cards, and small business products. A successful Production Specialist will have prior experience working with analytic programming languages such as SAS, Python, or R. They will have a mind toward designing automated processes, and a knack for diagnosing issues when they occur. The Production Specialist will have a working knowledge of econometric models and a strong grasp of data manipulation, analytics, and reporting skills. They are responsible for execution of models and their corresponding controls and will work cross-functionally to diagnose and troubleshoot issues. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience- Five to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experiencePreferred Skills/Experience Background in analytics, statistics, or predictive modeling Development experience in an analytic programming language such as SAS, Python, or R SQL query development Analytics & reporting Git version control Shell scripting NOTE: This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
