Job Title: CT Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology Cat Scan Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7.5 Hours, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Night Shift (every other weekend required) Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year required, 2 years preferred License: New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License R.T. (R) (CT) (ARRT) Certifications: - NYS Injection/IV Certification (Candidates who take the IV certification course before starting and apply for NYDOH BERT certification will be considered) - Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Experience with GE Revolution, GE Discovery, and Toshiba Quillion1 - Ability to perform all types of CT exams including head, pelvis, trauma, specialized cardiac, CT angiograms Job Description: - Work in a level 1 trauma center with exposure to a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, mobile, and emergency department. - Perform CT scans and imaging exams. - Required to wear matching scrubs (any color, no patterns). - Adhere to professional appearance standards: no open-toed shoes, excessive jewelry, chipped nails; long hair must be tied back and beards must be trimmed for fit-testing. - The facility is a teaching institution, providing an enriching environment.
