We are looking for a consulting-level Global Datacenter Operations architect to build services that comprehensively model, provision, secure, scale and operate OCI data centers and networks. You will imagine, design, implement for use various internal processes and tooling to represent arbitrarily complex datacenters. You will build systems able to centrally administer OCI's networks and automate responses to common operational problems using our network automation APIs.Supports the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle cloud computing environment datacenter (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - OCI). Primarily focused on development and support of processes, tools, and systems through a combination of a deep level understanding of datacenter operations, design, installation, hardware break/fix, and decommissioning at scale. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.Paid parental leaveAdoption assistanceEmployee Stock Purchase PlanFinancial planning and group legalVoluntary benefits including auto, homeowner and pet insuranceThe role will generally accept applications for at least three calendar days from the posting date or as long as the job remains posted.ResponsibilitiesAs an advanced OCI Support Architect, you will work across the Core Infrastructure Availability Engineering (CIAE) organization, specifically supporting the Executive leadership for OCI and Customer-based Data Center hardware support to achieve their performance and efficiency targets as well as the Data Center and Field technician employees.This role will collaborate closely with CHS, OCI software development teams, and Data Center Operations to align tools with objectives and improve software integration across repair workflows supporting the region. While this role will help improve CHS productivity, it is also critical to strengthen the relationship between CHS and broader corporate teams, ensuring flexibility, responsiveness, agility, and tackling systemic global issues. Further, represent CHS in global and corporate teams to identify and address the root cause of issues, ensuring long-term improvements and the reduction of repeat issues.This role will work directly with our Senior Vice Presidents.This is a full-time, preferred locations are Seattle, WA or Washington, DC. This could be remote for the right candidate.QualificationsBachelor's in CS or related engineering field (or equivalent) with 10+ years cloud datacenter/site support experienceExtensive experience with scripting and automation - Python preferred but must demonstrate expertise in a scripting or compiled language.Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques for cloud data centersDeep knowledge of cloud architecture, datacenter operations, networking (SDN, VPN, BGP, MPLS), and storage technologies.Experience in high performance compute including GPU/RDMA management is highly desiredExperience with site monitoring and telemetry highly desiredExperience with Linux systemsStrong experience with influencing product roadmap direction, features, and prioritiesExperience leading technical troubleshooting calls and performing post-mortem analysisExperience leading technical projects in compute, network, storage, and software engineering disciplinesKnowledge of cloud security principles and best practicesMust participate in an on-call rotation#J-18808-Ljbffr
