You will protect and promote the interests of Boldt on our projects every day, ensuring safety standards, schedule requirements, and quality construction within budget. This hands-on role will lead communication efforts for internal and external project reporting and manage the project team.What you get to do:SAFETY:Engage in day-to-day safety activities.Implement the Safety Culture Improvement Plan.Embrace safety with a "we care" mindset.Be a lifelong learner on improving project safety.PEOPLE:Lead teams in resolving issues related to plans and specifications.Coordinate design and construction efforts through meetings.Empower and lead a high-performance team.Coach team performance and development.Support companywide internship and apprenticeship programs.Engage in training and development programs.Mentor assistant project managers and project engineers.QUALITY:Ensure comprehensive knowledge of contract documents.Lead implementation of Quality Management System (QMS).Provide recommendations for materials and methods.SCHEDULE:Lead the Boldt Production System (BPS) including scheduling and production tracking.Coordinate subcontractor meetings and planning sessions.Align procurement processes with project milestones.Maintain up-to-date production visuals and site logistics plans.COST:Negotiate change orders and manage project changes.Provide technical support for cost control.Lead specific sections of the project budget.Communicate budget expectations clearly.RISK:Prepare detailed contract items list and trade scope documents.Execute subcontracts and purchase orders.Participate in the close-out process and ensure compliance.Manage project risks and demonstrate competency in controls processes.What we expect from you:Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or relevant field required; equivalent education, training, or experience may be considered.Seven or more years of related experience.Two or more years of experience in healthcare construction with OSHPD/HCAI.Solid understanding of construction equipment, techniques, and standards.Ability to assume responsibility and communicate effectively.Understanding of successful project delivery and financial data.Ability to inspire and empower teams.Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in O365 Office Suite.Physical requirements and working conditions:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to operate tools or controls and frequently uses a computer keyboard. The employee may need to maneuver in confined spaces and regularly remains stationary. The employee must regularly move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
