Logistics CoordinatorAbout the Company - Logistics CoordinatorCFS New York is working with a well-established, extremely stable manufacturing firm located in the Bronx, NY near multiple forms of transportation and parking available on siteExcellent perks offered- strong benefits with many company events throughout the year including a bowling tournament and a summer picnicLeadership encourages employees to share thoughts and ideas- internal growth encouraged!Role Responsibilities - Logistics CoordinatorAssist corporate logistics manager in overseeing all aspects of supply chain managementSchedule and monitor shipments, manage inventory, and communicate with customers and third-party service providersLiaison between the Sales, warehousing, and the Transportation Department in providing status updates on customer deliveries, administering returns and/or creditsDaily inventory transfers between all divisions and warehousesSchedule vendor inbound deliveriesCoordinating transportation providers to ensure proper movements of shipmentReviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.Inputting export applications to the FSIS system weeklyPreferred Qualifications - Logistics Coordinator3+ years working in supply chain/logisticsexperience in food/beverage industry is a plusexperience with operations related systems preferred: (Retalix, Appian Daily Planner, Mobile Conductor, Intellishift Silent Passenger/Dash Cams, FSIS Information System)
