ControllerAbout the Organization- ControllerCFS NY is working with an extremely stable nonprofit organization that has been around for over 100 yearsThey focus on community support by provding resources and opportunities to those in needThis role will be reporting directly to the CFO and has the ability to make a large impact to the organizationExcellent training provided, management with open door policyCompetitive compensation packages with professional development and growth opportunities consistently offered!This role is located in the Bronx, NYRole Responsbilities- ControllerOversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systemsMaintain internal control for receipt of revenue, costs, program budgets and actual expendituresCoordinate all audit activityConsistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely mannerClearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsAssist in the annual budgeting and planning processOversee all financial, project/program and grants accountingManage organizational cash flow and analyze GL activityPrepares adjusting, month-end and year-end closing journal entriesPreferred Qualifications- ControllerBA in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA is a plus)experience with GAAP standardsexperience with ERP systems- MIP is a plus#INFEB2025#LI-SM1
