Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience "” talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$120,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yrThe job holder will ensure the delivery of operational processing activities in support of the Branch and also play a key role in ensuring the delivery of organizational change and process improvements in order to simplify existing activities and ultimately deliver scalable operational solutions for consistent implementation as required.The job holder will support the:Creation of a high performing team capable of supporting and delivering the strategic plans from an operations perspective.Implementation of Key Performance metrics capacity planning to drive a consistent, rigorous and on-going assessment of operational performance.Identification of opportunities to reduce costs and improve quality and control through rationalization of operations processes.Alignment and standardization of processes for key products to create one best way / support the delivery of a standard Target Operating Model.Ensure compliance with group wide strategy, policies and processes.Responsibilities:Trade Finance Products:Ensure that all Trade Finance transactions are processed by Staff in a timely and accurate manner and in strict compliance with TF P&P, and in accordance with all applicable rules such as UCP, ISP, URC as well as any compliance regulations that apply to TF transactions.Loan, Money Market, FX and Settlements:Ensure that daily operation of loans and treasury settlements are executed by staff in accordance with the department established procedures.Account Reconciliation:Investigating long outstanding open items in account Payable/Receivable and any suspense account.Compliance Due Diligence:Strict adherence to BSA/AML regulations and all applicable US compliance laws and policies. Ensure compliance check lists are completed by staff when applicable. Ensure OFAC scanning is performed upon receipt of documents and before proceeding with negotiation and/or payment.Reporting:Read and analyze various daily/monthly reports and raise/share relevant data.Marketing Support:Collaborate with Relationship Managers to review pending issues or structuring of prospective opportunity. Support Relationship Managers in any clarification, providing accurate information.Investigations & Operational Risk:Perform transaction investigation when needed.Quality Service:Ensure customer satisfaction with prompt and timely response. All documents examination and processing should be completed by staff within maximum period of three banking days. Any other transactions should be completed within two banking days, unless pending approval or clarification.Knowledge:Good technical knowledge and experience of all major banking products but especially Commercial Banking (Trade Finance and Loans) and Treasury (FX, Money Market and derivatives).Good understanding of the principles of Business Continuity, process re-engineering and project management.Detailed knowledge of relevant regulations including those related to Financial Crime (i.e., AML, Sanctions etc.) impacting the banks operations and associated international best practices and an understanding of the likely impact of forthcoming change.Education / Certifications:Degree level qualification in banking, finance, accountancy or business administration.Experience:15+ years of Trade Finance and Treasury Operations experience of which 8 are managerial, especially as Head of Operations in a comparable institution responsible for team development and strategic change initiatives.Personal Attributes:Articulate and easy to understand with strong interpersonal skills. Checks others' understanding in response to inquiries / situations.Produces clear and concise reports and other written material which are understandable to those with or without knowledge of the subject.Comfortable using IT systems and extracting, manipulating and formatting data.Ability to work under pressure, with strong time management skills and proven track record in planning, managing and prioritizing own and teams' work.Excellent analytical skills with ability to learn new systems and identify and define problems and solutions.Able to establish and maintain strong, enduring and effective relationships within the ABC Group and with customers.Must exhibit personal integrity and accountability. This is a leadership role within the Branch and the job holder will be a role model for employees.
