Lead Server

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Lead server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests through excellent customer service, effective communication, and teamwork. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders and ensure they are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience and respond promptly to requests. Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to maintain smooth operations during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between guests. Assist in training new staff members on service standards and restaurant procedures. Requirements Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is required. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual responsibilities. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. A positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is a plus.
