Position Summary As the Baker/Pastry Prep Cook at The Salt Shed , you will support our team in producing pizza dough, ice cream, and baked goods for our concessions and wholesale operations. You will be responsible for completing all products associated with the designated station efficiently while maintaining quality and a clean workspace. This role generally follows a Monday-Thursday + Saturday, 6 AM - 2 PM schedule. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Produce pizza dough, ice cream, and various baked goods for wholesale and concessions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including dishwashing, trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing. Work collaboratively with the team and step in where needed. Ensure food safety and quality standards are met. About You: One year of pastry experience or completion of pastry school required. Valid food handler certification required. Ability to work a full 40-hour week. Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours per day. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Comfortable with repetitive tasks such as kneading dough, panning, scooping ice cream, and portioning cookies. Must be able to handle/tolerate common allergens including peanuts, nuts, wheat, eggs, and dairy.
