Senior Solutions Architect twentyAI Rutherford, United States Posted: 28 days ago | Job Type: Hybrid | Employment Type: Permanent | Salary: $170k - $230k The Senior Solutions Architect candidate requires a strong knowledge and experience in developing architecture vision, strategy, and end-to-end solutions for complex financial business problems. The role will have a regional and global focus in the operations and technology space and requires the individual to work across a variety of stakeholders such as Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM), Retail Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Model Risk, Internal Audit, O&T Business Risk Control and Chief Administrative Office. Responsibilities: Create solution architecture artifacts that are consistent with architecture principles, methodologies, and best practices with a goal of resilient and scalable cloud-based solutions. Provide thought leadership in subjects that are key to the business and lead portfolio simplification strategies to rationalize application landscape. Interface with vendors to assess their technology and to guide their product roadmap based on requirements. Lead design sessions with engineers and stakeholders to create innovative solutions. Conduct proof of concept and proof of analysis on potential solutions with a failure fast mindset to drive target state. Design common business functions and capabilities within the GRC ecosystem to simplify technology footprint and faster time to market. Own and drive solution evaluation and build vs buy/partner analysis. Communicate technology vision, strategies, and solutions across communities and cross-functional teams. Provide expert knowledge of architecture and serve as SME to cross-functional teams. Provide architectural leadership and conduct assessments to adopt cyber, risk, and control patterns and solutions. Qualifications: 10+ years of overall relevant banking, financial services experience. At least 10 years in a Solutions Architecture role in large enterprise environments. Banking/Financial/Payment experience is a plus. Expertise in developing architecture vision and strategic solutions. Experience with modernizing and migrating applications to strategic architectures. Expertise in building solutions with domain-driven design (DDD), API, microservices, event-driven architecture and cloud-native principles. Expertise in modern languages (e.g. Java, C#), messaging, integration and data streaming technologies (e.g. Kafka, MQ), caching & database (RDBMS and NoSQL) tools, application development frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot, .NET), well-architected frameworks, data integration solutions, software architecture patterns, and tools. Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines. Awareness of industry trends and leveraging new technologies as appropriate. Experience in collaborating and influencing cross-functional teams. Passion to innovate with an open-source mindset to improve products. Experience with technology control frameworks, compliance, regulatory and audits. Ability to create solutions at conceptual, logical, and physical levels. Consistently demonstrate concise written and verbal communication. Cloud certification (AWS, Microsoft, Google, etc.) is a plus. Demonstrated facility to interact and work effectively with diverse teams. Ability to lead projects with multiple counterparts across organizations. Ability to work under pressure, facilitate discussions and conduct group meetings.
