What's the opportunity? We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Revenue Accounting team. This highly-visible role will play a key part in ensuring that our Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) reconciliation is accurate and aligned with our top metrics"”directly influencing strategic decisions made by our leadership team. Your ability to analyze and review non-standard revenue contracts, assess their accounting treatment under US GAAP, and understand their impact on ARR will be critical. In this role, you'll collaborate with teams across the organization and help executives move quickly with the insights they need to make informed, high-level decisions. What will I be doing? Managing the daily reconciliation of bookings ARR to Billings ARR. Collaborate with cross functional team stakeholders and contributors from Business Systems, Sales Operations, Billing Operations, Data Engineering and FP&A to make sure that contributors assigned to the ARR reconciliation tasks from each team timely and accurately complete their assigned actions for each exception. Hands-on investigation of ARR variances between bookings and billings will be required for complex cases. If adjustments are required in Salesforce to correct previously reported bookings numbers, collaborate on communication to Sales with the Sales Ops team to proactively explain reasons for changes and prevent surprises. Identify root causes of differences, develop process changes and systemic solutions with the Business Systems and Sales Ops team to prevent errors in the future. Prioritize tasks on Business Systems roadmap. Maintain and enhance reporting tools (Tableau) used for ARR exceptions reporting. Continuously iterate and improve the reconciliation process with emphasis on automation, coach cross functional contributors to accelerate the quarterly ARR reporting cycle from 3-4 business days to 1 business day. Review revenue contracts, document accounting impact and propose adjustments to ensure compliance with ASC 606. Participate in ongoing company initiatives around Partner Commissions to streamline existing process through automation. What skills do I need? 5 years of experience in revenue accounting with emphasis on data analytics to support bookings and billings data and ARR. Experience building relationships and leading cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders in different time zones. Solid background in ASC 606: Revenue from Contracts with Customers in a SAAS or technology company is highly preferred. Experience using NetSuite and revenue engines such as NetSuite ARM or RevPro is highly preferred. Experience in building reports in Tableau and writing basic SQL queries, a plus. The base salary range for candidates within the San Francisco Bay Area is $151,700-$176,300. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
