About the Job The Donor Services Coordinator works closely with the CVM Ministry Management Department team to oversee organizational donations. This position manages gift processing and data maintenance functions using established procedures and business rules to ensure accuracy and standardization within the database system. Maintaining accurate donor records and reports is a crucial responsibility. This person ensures the integrity of constituent data entered into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database and serves as the liaison for donor services questions. This role requires utmost discretion and positive and friendly relationships with donors through regular phone and email communication. This position is an in-person position based at the CVM office in Lynnwood, Washington, and reports to the Chief Operating Officer (subject to change). Limited travel (up to 5% of the time) locally and within the US is anticipated. Candidates offered conditional employment must complete a background check. CVM intends to use information from a third-party background check to inform employment decisions. Compensation & Benefits This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a starting wage range of $27-$32/hour depending on experience. What we want you to do in this position: Process financial gifts and manage the donor database Daily manage gifts to the organization, including bank deposits. Daily update and maintain donor records in the Customer Relationship Management system (currently Site Stacker by WMTEK). Receipt online and offline gifts. Manage acknowledgments to donors. Manage Communications Serve as a primary point of contact for donor transactions. Build relationships with donors to strengthen engagement, affinity for the organization, and long-term support. Prioritize customer service and maintain good rapport with donors. Apply a high degree of discretion and confidentiality with donor information and communication. Manage office postal mail, general email, and phone. Perform Regular Quality controls Create daily gift reports. Follow donor tribute instructions and ensure donor intent is honored. Assist with "Remember A Pet" (RAP) donations - collaborate with the RAP coordinator to account for RAP gifts. Prioritize service to stakeholders with a strong work ethic and organizational commitment. Related experience may be substituted on a year-by-year basis. Experience: Experience working in a faith-based nonprofit or church setting strongly preferred. Minimum of two years' experience using databases. Strong focus and acumen with data, reporting, and analysis. Experience in customer service or public relations. Experience in bookkeeping or accounting would be helpful. Other considerations: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage, input, and organize data accurately and effectively. Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable, insured, personal vehicle and be willing to use it to go to the post office and other local locations. Software proficiency: Skills in digital data management and experience using Customer Relationship Management databases (SiteStacker experience is a plus). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or similar programs. Comfort in utilizing online meeting systems such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
