The ServiceNow CMDB Analyst II will be part of the Service Management Office (SMO) ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) team supporting the Configuration Management Data Base (CMDB) utilizing the ServiceNow platform. Responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining the ServiceNow CMDB and ensuring strategic alignment and ongoing process health in support of Business and IT goals. Provides administrative support to the Assistant Vice President (AVP) and direct reports within the Client Relationship Center (CRC) and Insurance Fulfillment Solutions (IPS). Maintains calendar for the AVP, scheduling appointments and governing time. Expedites work through proper channels in the absence of the AVP, maintaining regular and follow-up files and confidential data. Acts as liaison to outside associations for the AVP. Arranges travel plans as directed and prepares correspondence and maintains records. Works closely with the program testing manager to define functional test automation strategy and processes. Responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining a program-level automation testing strategy and automation test framework for a given set of automation tools; creating custom controls; mentoring the test automation developers; and demonstrating innovations to increase testing efficiency and maximize the testing investments' returns. Answers inquiries primarily through telephone communications with a high level of quality customer service. Serves as the primary contact point for Information Services associates specific to operations tasks for both development and production systems. Operates, monitors, executes, makes modifications and schedules online and batch processes on both Mainframe and open systems platforms. In a manner consistent with compliance and regulatory requirements, responds to agents' inquiries via multi-media factors including inbound/outbound calls and email. Produces or modifies computer programs of simple to moderate complexity using the prescribed computer programming languages on various hardware. Develops an understanding of assignments including the business functions to the point of being productive beyond the scope of his/her specific program assignments. Processes and approves complex contract and policy changes which may include conversions, reinstatements, and other actions for Fixed, Variable, and Indexed Life contracts utilizing various administrative systems. The Portfolio Analyst is a member of the Fort Washington investment team with varying responsibilities.
