Our client a successful B2B and B2C organization specializing in Education Materials for Families, Schools, and Teachers is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the growing team!Why Apply?Voted among Chicago Tribune's Top WorkplacesHybrid work scheduleCompany is growingFamily owned, stable businessCreative, collaborative atmosphereSummer hours!Cultural eventsFitness centerPhilanthropic/volunteer opportunitiesLong term employeesProfessional training and developmentThis position is located in Vernon Hills, IL and offers a hybrid schedule (2 days at home per week post training)Salary range based off experience level is 85k-100k plus bonus potentialSenior Financial Analyst Top Responsibilities:Prepare monthly consolidated bank reporting including borrowing base calculations and fixed charged coverage calculationsPrepare weekly consolidated cash forecasting models and provide commentary around the weekly changesDrive accounting process automation projectsIdentify bottlenecks within the accounting department and create dashboards or new reports to improve efficiencyDevelop exception reporting to improve internal controlsPerform gross margin and other analyses for the monthly financial bridge reportingDevelop predictive financial metrics to assist in the management of the businessSenior Financial Analyst Experience Preferred:Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. MBA/CPA a plus.3 - 5 years of financial analysis and accounting experience.Solid understanding of financial statement construction and GAAP fundamentals.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong technical skills in the use of Excel, Power BI, Access or similar analytic tools.InquisitiveAbility to identify and solve problemsAbility to work both independently and cross functionallyFlexible and able to adapt quickly to changing prioritiesEager to learn and grow professionally#INFEB2025#ZRCFS#LI-BS1
