Non-Profit- Senior AccountantAbout the Organization:CFS New York is working with a stable non-profit agency looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team and report directly to the ControllerThis non-profit agency has been around for over 50 years and strives to support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental illness and traumatic brain injuryThe team here prides themselves on fundraising events, teamwork, and collaborationThis role will be fully on-site in Bethpage, Long IslandRole Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant:Prepare and review monthly account reconciliationsCreate and maintain both recurring and standard journal entriesPrepare variance analysis on finance statementsMaintain the general ledger and assist and audit preparationsAssist with tax preparations and provide support to the operations teamsPreferred Qualifications Of The Senior Accountant:Not-for-profit background is preferred3-5+ Years of Accounting experienceBA Degree in Accounting or a similar field is a mustIntermediate excel skills is a must
