Senior Project Accountant for Architect FirmCFS of New York is currently working with a global Architectural firm located in Midtown, Manhattan seeking a Project Accountant to join their teamVery stable company that has been around for over 40 years and have many development/construction projects all over the world, including London, Abu Dhabi, South Korea, Thailand, and the Netherlands among othersThey are offering a competitive salary with bonus; great benefits and generous time offThey are a growing company that likes to promote from withinRole Responsibilities- Senior Project Accountant:Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial, project, and management reporting dataPrepare, review, and maintain Initial Budget Worksheets and PlansSet up new projects in ERP system, review contracts and proposalsEnsure timeliness and accuracy of fees and expenses billed to clientsFee Forecasting, including budget to actual comparisonsReview and approve all consultant invoices, including reviews of unbilled expensesBilling/Accounts Receivable - assist in production of monthly invoices to clients, assist AR position in collections and applying cashHandle quarterly and annual closings as they relate to revenue recognitionAdditional ad hoc responsibilitiesPreferred Qualifications- Senior Project Accountant:Bachelors degree in AccountingProfessional services industry experience, especially Architecture and Engineering is a plusFamiliarity with various ERP systems as well as strong Excel skillsExperience with Deltek Vision is a plus#LI-RP2
