The Floor Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and cocktail bar, providing exceptional service to guests while managing the front-of-house team. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a keen understanding of the food and beverage industry. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership and Management Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts. Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff are knowledgeable about the menu, cocktail preparation, and service standards. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance. Guest Experience Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their visit. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. Monitor dining and bar areas to ensure cleanliness, ambiance, and overall guest satisfaction. Operational Oversight Assist in managing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures. Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service and quality of food and beverages. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies when necessary. Financial Management Assist in achieving financial targets by monitoring labor costs, beverage costs, and overall profitability. Prepare and maintain daily cash reports, ensuring accurate cash handling and deposits. Implement and enforce policies related to pricing and promotions. Health and Safety Compliance Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety and alcohol service laws. Conduct regular inspections of the dining area and bar for cleanliness and organization. Train staff on safety protocols and emergency procedures. Event Planning and Execution Assist in planning and executing special events, promotions, and themed nights to attract guests. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events through social media and other channels. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of [X years] in a supervisory role within a restaurant or bar environment. Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
