ManTech seeks a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Cloud Engineer to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. This is an onsite position. As a Cloud Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative and mission-critical defense and national security projects. You will collaborate with a skilled team of professionals, responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting cloud resources in both AWS and Azure environments. This position offers great opportunities for technical growth and experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Compose new Terraform code and edit existing code for deploying AWS resources. Implement an automation-first approach to manage AWS GovCloud resources, focusing on administration and configuration management. Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) instances, ensuring proper management of their AMI lifecycle. Participate in Agile ceremonies as part of a highly functioning Agile engineering team. Create, maintain, and update relevant system documentation in line with project requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and in accordance with specifications. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM discipline; or six years of relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. 2+ years of experience with AWS production environment, deploying, managing, and maintaining scalable, secure, cost-effective cloud resources and applications. Experience with RHEL OS and/or Windows Server, with proficiency in maintaining these systems. Proficiency in one or more scripting languages: Python, Bash, or Perl. Familiarity with identity solutions implementing SAML/SSO leveraging CAC. 1+ years of experience with Terraform, including provisioning, managing, and automating infrastructure as code in cloud environments, ensuring consistency, scalability, and reliability across deployments. Possess a current entry-level certification from a Cloud Service Provider (AWS CCP, Microsoft AZ-900). Preferred Qualifications: Possess a current AWS Associate-level certification, such as the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or AWS Certified Developer - Associate. Experience with EKS, ECS, or Kubernetes for container orchestration. Experience creating and maintaining OCI-compliant container images. Experience working with Ansible and/or AWS Systems Manager for system configuration. Experience working with GitHub or similar version control systems. Clearance Requirements: U.S. Citizenship required and an active Secret clearance. Physical Requirements: Ability to remain stationary for up to 50% of the time while working at a computer or other office equipment. Ability to move around the office to access files and office machinery, as well as to communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients.
