Base pay range $118,000.00/yr - $148,000.00/yr The Senior Solutions Architect will support the OT infrastructure and operations within the Midstream IT organization. The ideal candidate will lead the design and delivery of infrastructure platforms, focusing on modernization of networks, servers, hardware, and cloud technologies, with an emphasis on DevOps, CI/CD, and software development practices. The role involves close collaboration with product managers, domain leads, and other architects to align technical solutions with business goals, while breaking down barriers between product lines and business units. The architect will design integrated solutions that address business challenges and meet enterprise architecture standards. Additionally, the role will focus on selecting and assessing new products and services, and planning architecture strategies and roadmaps. Key Responsibilities : Support architectural governance, compliance, and contribute to defining principles, guidelines, and standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives. Lead technology evaluation and vendor assessments to ensure compatibility with business needs. Design end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements and contribute to solution architecture reviews. Translate business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints and ensure system integration across components. Guide development teams throughout the implementation process. Manage architecture for large-scale projects and oversee the evolution of the portfolio. Education & Experience : Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or equivalent experience required. 5+ years of experience in IT or OT infrastructure architecture. OT experience preferred. 5+ years in Infrastructure Engineering (Networking, Compute, Storage, IaC, Configuration Management, Identity & Access Management, and Platform Development) preferred. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, Cisco IOS, Arista EOS, and similar technologies. Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. Experience with cloud services, virtual environments, and highly available storage solutions. Skills : Agile Methodology : Experience in iterative project management approaches. Analytical Thinking : Strong problem-solving abilities to address architectural challenges and design solutions. Cloud Computing : Proficient in cloud application development and architecture management. Continuous Improvement : Identifies opportunities to drive improvement and create value. Security Integration : Knowledge of security best practices, including DevSecOps and Zero Trust Network Architectures. Process Orchestration : Expertise in coordinating and automating business processes for efficient operations. Machine Learning & AI : Understanding of AI techniques and the integration of these capabilities into architectural solutions. Strategic Outlook : Ability to plan for long-term goals and ensure alignment with organizational strategy.
