Senior Application Project Manager Location: Remote (must be local to Rhode Island) Type: Contract Category: Program/Project Management Rate: $70 - $80 / hr. w2 Description: Our client is looking for a senior Project Manager to work within their application development area to help various enterprise product teams. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of projects, from planning to implementation and maintenance. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, while meeting specific technical requirements. Lead the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects, including setting project goals and objectives, developing project plans, and coordinating with team members and stakeholders. Manage project budget and resources, ensuring that all project activities are carried out within the allocated budget and resources. Monitor and report on project progress, including tracking project milestones and deliverables, and providing regular updates to stakeholders. Coordinate with technical teams and other stakeholders to ensure that the infrastructure design and implementation meets the technical requirements for application development and deployment. Manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, as well as with industry standards and best practices. Manage project documentation, including maintaining detailed project plans, reports, and other project-related documents. Manage project team members, providing guidance and support as needed, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements to improve future projects. Experience Requirements: Proven ability to work with a broad base of Microsoft-centric technologies to assist with software development and deployment. SQL DevOps 10+ years as a functional project manager. Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.
