TMC Offers:Competitive SalaryComprehensive Benefit Package401(k) PlanEmployee Ownership - ESOP!TMC Transportation has an immediate full-time opening for a Load Planner working out of our office in Des Moines, Iowa.PRIMARY FUNCTION:The primary function of a Customer Service Rep is to manage ongoing relationships with customers within a designated area by accepting freight, resolving issues, and maintaining customer requirements.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and maintain relationships with customersObtain and upkeep driver and company productivity goals are being metReview a list on incoming trucks while speaking directly with customers to take load information and book freight on all available trucksAbility to maintain assigned territory of customersMaintain and log pre-booked freight that cannot be immediately assignedContact new and existing customers to solicit additional freight, as necessary to load trucks within the designated areaResearch and resolve customer inquiries and problemEffectively communicate with customers, sales, fleet managers, and other internal personnelParticipate in total quality management and process improvement teamsUtilize web-based technology to gather and track operation dataEnter customer data and shipping instructions into a computer database
