At ***, we help our Customers create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare and life science product and service solutions around the globe.*Sign on Bonus Available*Position SummaryThe DC Fulfillment Technician is a functional role that includes distribution order picking, stocking, packaging, and other material handling and inventory control tasks to ensure timely and accurate shipments are made to our customers using various indicators or signals. To assure team continuity across all warehouse operations, this position may also be required to learn, perform, and or be certified to assist within other areas of Warehouse Operations including material & inventory, traffic, or others as assigned.The role works collaboratively with key business partners to ensure timeliness of execution, appropriate safeguards to protect during transit, and or other. Interacting with Customer Service, Purchasing, Planning, Operations and Material Control to identify and meet business requirements. The role also works closely with these business partners to identify best practices and address challenges timely and appropriately.DutiesTimely picking of required material using forklift and / or other material handling equipmentVerification of items picked for accuracy and conditionLoad and unload trucks as requiredInternational shipment coordination including commercial invoice, SLI, and other documents and or scheduling as requiredPackaging, palletization, and labeling for shipment including dangerous goods, international, and carrier paperwork and or labels - Certifications provided when neededPerform physical and ERP goods movementsProcess stock transfers and material requestsReplenish production areas and other areas as assignedAssist in troubleshooting issues as they ariseAssist leadership in the development of improvement strategies and execution plansFollow all provided control procedures and policies to complete tasksMaintain and engage in promotion of a safe work environmentEducation:High School Diploma or GEDRequired Experience:High School graduate2 years advanced education preferred6 years related disciplines experience requiredPrevious forklift experience (counterbalance, stock picker, reach truck) requiredGeneral proficiencies in Microsoft Office and ERP required (SAP preferred)Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast paced, changing environmentMaintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendorsAbility to maintain regular and predictable attendanceAbility to continually meet all ADA factors as detailed within this job descriptionNesco Resource and affiliates (Lehigh G.I.T Inc, and Callos Resource, LLC) is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics with respect to employment opportunities.
