Electronics Engineering Lab ManagerA local, NY-Proud leader in the manufacturing industry is seeking a talented Electronics Engineering Lab Manager to oversee the assembly, alignment, and testing of RF/Microwave electronic component assemblies. This role plays a vital part in ensuring seamless integration from PC sub-assemblies to module and system-level components. The company fosters a collaborative work environment and values internal growth opportunities.Electronics Engineering Lab Manager ResponsibilitiesThe Electronics Engineering Lab Manager role involves managing testing processes, developing in-process procedures, and ensuring compliance with program standards. Key responsibilities include:Employee supervisionIn-process test procedures and data sheets are generated for PCA, module, and system-level testing.System interface test fixturing is designed and created to enhance testing efficiency.Customer performance specifications and supplied documentation are reviewed to ensure adherence to thermal cycling, thermal vacuum, vibration, shock, and EMI test requirements.Required engineering documentation is generated, including failure reports, discrepant material reports (DMR), recovery test plans, engineering change notices, and end-item data packages.Test support is provided for engineers, technicians, and engineering associates, including tool selection, program-specific test equipment, and procurement coordination.System designs are understood, covering both passive (power dividers, filters, crystal filters) and active components (oscillators, amplifiers, multipliers, phase-locked loops, mixers), along with thermistor-based temperature compensation.EEE parts selection expertise is demonstrated, including characterization, evaluation, screening, traceability, and derating requirements for space applications.Electronics Engineering Lab Manager Educational and Skill RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.A minimum of 10 years of relevant electrical/electronics component engineering experience required.Proficiency in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems required.Electronics Engineering Lab Manager Compensation and BenefitsIn addition to a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package is offered, including:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401K with Employer ContributionPaid Time Off, including Vacation, Sick Leave, and Paid HolidaysPlease submit a resume for Electronics Engineering Lab Manager for consideration.
