Business Development ManagerLOCATION: Columbus, Ohio OfficeJOB DESCRIPTION: This position will be responsible for providing strategic practice group and individual attorney guidance and support surrounding marketing and business development planning, visibility, research and client development opportunities in Porter Wright's nine markets. 12 years marketing and business development experience, preferably within professional servicesUndergraduate degree in marketing, journalism, communications or related business experienceMust be proficient in document management, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email (Outlook)Capability in InDesign and Photoshop is a plusPeriodic travel to the firm's markets requiredAssist in the development, implementation and follow-up of market, industry group, department, practice group and attorney business and visibility plansConsider, assess and oversee responses to requests for proposal/qualifications, including customization of proposal content, practice descriptions, attorney bios and other related contentReview client feedback from interviews, analyze potential opportunities and assess next steps in building client relationships and driving valueDevelop tailored biographies for attorneys prior to their start date and as neededAssist in the development, execution and follow-up of attorney business plans.
