If so, we want to hear from you!About Us:Gpac is working with a long-standing heavy equipment company looking for Heavy Equipment Technicians! The Technicians are an integral part of the company and perform diagnostics, service repairs, and perform maintenance work on all customer and/or dealer-owned equipment.Your responsibilities will include:Heavy Equipment Service Manager Job Duties:Develops, communicates, enforces, and monitors effective Service Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfactionManages department goals and budgetsDevelops business with existing and new customers through promotional programs, customer visits, and networkingSubmits all service warranty paperwork and claims on timeSchedules and assigns jobs and work areas to employees in the Service Department according to their skills and knowledgeExperience, Education, Skills & Knowledge:Technical school certificate or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in a service department working as a technicianPrevious management or shop foreman experience is strongly preferredAbility to lead and manage employeesSolid parts and machinery knowledgeExcellent customer service and selling skillsHeavy Equipment Service Manager Physical Requirements of this position:Ability to lift, manipulate, and move items weighing upwards of 50 lbs. repeatedlyExposure to dust, fumes, gases and chemicalsRegularly works near moving mechanical partsRequires good manual dexterityBenefits:Competitive salary and performance-based bonusesHealth, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement savings planOpportunities for professional development and advancementVibrant, team-oriented work environmentIf you meet the criteria above and are interested, please submit a resume.
