Portfolio/Project Financials Analyst NC

Job Summary:Dexian is seeking a Portfolio/Project Financial Analyst for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.Responsibilities:Partner with program managers within DMT to govern program forecasts; report on outcomes of financial forecasting activityReport on and mitigate monthly variance between forecasts and actuals, keeping variances to a minimumCreate allocation reports to track and manage project level resource allocations to monitor project forecastingSupport the yearly planning process for project/initiativeAggregate and analyze project estimates (and required funding) across the various parts of the organization to derive a comprehensive team viewResearch funding or allocation gaps/discrepancies and assist in resolutionRequirements:Fast learner who works well independently as well as with a teamCollege degree or equivalent work experienceFinance backgroundPrevious experience with forecasting, allocations and/or program/project financial governanceExpert Excel skillsTPAS, PCM, PMMTFinancial AnalysisAbility to prioritize competing priorities as well as meet deadlinesStrong financial experienceExperience with forecasting and financial analysis to ensure proper portfolio financials are maintained to support efforts within funding limitsAdvanced Excel skills (to include pivot tables, sumifs & vlookups), general financial acumen, analytical skills, detail orientedAbility to manage, structure, and consolidate multiple sources of data into intelligent reports and stories, and take appropriate actions to remedy outlier situationsCan operate assertively and independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong relationship, verbal and written communication, team building, and influencing skillsDexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
