This is a hybrid role (2 days in office) working out of their Midtown, Manhattan office. The organization focuses on business planning, advisory and compliance services for wealthy families and generational wealth planning. They host breakfasts, lunches, happy hours, birthday celebrations and charity events as well! They are a very close-knit team with great benefits.Role Responsibilities - Tax ManagerReview tax procedures, engagement workpapers and financial statementsAddress questions on advanced technical accounting matters from team members and upper level client managementOversee staff while coordinating the day-to-day duties of planning, tax work, and wrap-upCommunicate with Partner on work status and client issues that ariseConduct research, consult with team members, draw conclusions and prepare memos based on target issuesTop review of returns, workpapers, and issuesSupervise, train and mentors tax staffPreferred Qualifications - Tax Manager10+ years of hands-on tax experienceCPA or Enrolled AgentAdvanced knowledge of applicable accounting software (e.g. ProSystem Tax, Engagement, etc.)Public accounting background is a plusPrior experience working with high-net-worth individuals is a plusExperience with CCH Tax software is a plus
