This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and growing organization!What we love about the role:Stable organization-has been around for 65+ yearsNice tenure-multiple examples of employees there for 20+ yearsFamily oriented cultureStrong benefits-401k match, medical, dental, vision, & PTOLeading organization in the steel manufacturing industryWork directly with executive leadershipKey Responsibilities: VP of Operations Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, including supply chain logistics, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high service standards.Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop operations teams to maximize performance and ensure consistent execution of company standards and policies.Process Optimization: Analyze current operational processes and workflows, implementing improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with company growth objectives, including technology adoption and service expansion.Vendor and Supplier Relations: Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, particularly regarding fuel handling, transportation, and storage.Budget Management: Oversee operational budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effective management of resources while maintaining service quality.Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with customer service teams to ensure high levels of client satisfaction by addressing operational concerns, resolving issues, and providing innovative solutions.Data Analysis and Reporting: Use data analytics to monitor operational performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and present insights to senior management to drive decision-making.Qualifications: VP of Operations Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.7+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in steel manufacturingProven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.Proficiency in operational software, ADP, and Microsoft Office Suite.This position is fully on-site and annual compensation is around $100,000-120,000.#ZRCFS#INFEB2025#LI-JS4#INMAR2025
