Commercial Property Accountant PositionAbout the Real Estate Company- Commercial Property AccountantCFS of New York is working with a Real Estate and Investment firm as they are looking for an Accountant to join their teamOur client boasts one of the largest real estate portfolios in the US, as they have 450+ properties including retail, residentials, office, and hotel buildingsThis role reports to the Controller and Assistant Controller and will be asked to in the office daily in Jersey City, NJCompetitive Salary, Benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Commuter BenefitsRole Responsibilities- Commercial Property AccountantPreparing monthly reports on the Commercial property business including all active properties that the firm works withReviewing the budgets for the construction including working on conducting monthly requisitions for contractorsComply with the development of accounting policies and proceduresComply with internal controls policies and proceduresPreferred Qualifications- Commercial Property Accountant3-5 years experience of relevant accounting experience in Real Estate Bachelors degree in Accounting, CPA or MBA is a plusExperience working with an ERP system such as Yardi, MRI or Deltek is a plus; strong Excel skills
