Manager, Accounting and Financial Reporting: Great Plains Expert!About the Organization and Opportunity:Our client is a company headquartered in the Washington DC areaThey are looking bring on a Manager, Accounting and Financial reporting to perform accounting functions and to serve as an administrator for their accounting systemThe organization is well-established and fosters a great sense of communityThe company values teamwork and flexibilityThey offer excellent benefits, including: 401K match, generous PTO and holidays and great medical coverageOverview of the Manager, Accounting and Financial Reporting role: Oversee and ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close and reporting process Supervise the production and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and analytical reports Prepare and review appropriate journal entries, account reconciliations and account analysis Assist with the quarterly consolidation and annual auditServe as systems administrator for the Great Plains accounting software packageManage and develop assigned staffPreferred Qualifications for the Manager, Accounting and Financial Reporting:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum of 3 years of relevant management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experienceMUST have working knowledge and experience with MS Dynamics- Great Plains and Management ReporterAdvanced Excel skillsCPA is a plus#LI-KC4#INJAN2025 #ZRCFS
