Job Location: Chicago This role is based out of our corporate HQ located in downtown Chicago and will be a hybrid in-person/remote role. Want to make an impact? The Analyst, Transportation manages key customer accounts, ensuring key On Time Performance metrics are met, supports the validation and dispute process for customer penalties, continually analyzes for areas of improvement, and develops and executes action plans and improvement projects. Partnering with internal and external stakeholders, the Analyst, Transportation will help support best in class On Time Performance and help optimize the information flow between Sales, Distribution Facilities, Customer Service teams, our 3PL's, and our Customer's. Ways you will make a difference * Monitor assigned customers delivery performance, spend, and service KPI's. * Oversee assigned customers orders to proactively manage risk and optimize truckloads. * Collaborate with 3PL and customers to investigate and root cause service failures. * Assist in the dispute process for customer compliance penalties. * Effectively partner with all key internal/external clients to ensure all functions are performing at established levels of performance. * Identify improvement areas within various workstreams with external/internal stakeholders, form a solution strategy, a * Ensure a modern supply chain strategy is developed that supports the company's overall strategic business plan and performance objectives, as well as customer expectations. * Understand and oversee the execution of best in class logistics/transportation services. * Prepare analysis and action plans supporting Transportation initiatives. * Build/develop dashboards to drive insights into logistics performance. * Perform special projects and ad hoc requests as required. Skills that will make you successful * Ability to clearly communicate cross-functionally to all levels of an organization. * Ability to multi-task and self-prioritize amidst ambiguity. * Curious Nature - critical thinking and problem solving are critical for this role. * Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint. * Capability to translate data analysis into insights and action. * Ability to "sell" ideas to gain buy in from stakeholders. * Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) Experiences that will support your success * Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, STEM, or combination of education and experience * Minimum 1+ year of experience in key supply chain areas such as, but not limited to, inventory control, transportation, warehousing, and order management. * Proven problem solving and conflict resolution ability. * Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint * Proven Experience with ERP systems -SAP preferred * Transportation or 3PL experience preferred. * Familiarity or interest with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) * Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) * Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (SAP BOBJ, etc.) What We Offer At Ferrara, we're proud to support our employees with comprehensive benefits that enhance health, financial wellness, and include paid time off (PTO).
