We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead, support, and manage a team of technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate is a self-starter with strong leadership capabilities that can manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time. This leader will build a team that can work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and other departments. Your experience in fast-paced production lines as well as strong technical background will make you an ideal candidate for this role. You have a passion for employee development and enjoy the process of training and developing the next generation of techs. You are very hands-on, energetic, and have a capacity to think critically on many different complicated processes. Your proven ability to collaborate with employees, peers, and managers is one of your key strengths for success. * Provide technical training to all technicians focused on controls, mechanics, electrical, etc. * Align projects to drive department goals by managing operations and driving metrics in critical area * Lead remanufacturing technicians on process issues analysis and problem solving * Monitor defect trends and escalate to responsible engineering, quality, and service teams * Support issue resolution including root cause investigation & corrective action tracking * Work with the training department ensuring manufacturing Instructions, versatility matrices and other technical documentation are current * Manages the cross-shift communication for the technician teams * 3+ years of experience managing teams of people in a high-volume manufacturing setting, preferred * Experience in selecting and developing new team members * Ability to work with and develop production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs) * Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines * Communicate using excellent written and verbal skills; able to interface with executives and leaders daily * Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail * Fluent with standard MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Ability to work a flexible shift, including nights and weekends, if necessary
