Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.The Impact You'll Make in this RoleThe person hired for the position of Production Supervisor will provide supervisory support for manufacturing operations and is responsible for driving safety, quality, service, productivity, and employee engagement The position will support to expand supervisory coverage for 24/7 crewing, including weekend coverage. Here, you will make an impact by:Ensuring a safe working environment through modeling safe behaviors, leading audits/inspections, correcting unsafe behaviors, conducting safety meetings, and utilizing proper work methods, procedures and equipmentProviding supervision to production and/or hourly employees. Work cross-functionally with site support teams (EHS, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Production Planning)Handling shift administrative activities such as time/absence reporting, attendance control, vacation planning, overtime, training, etc.Planning daily work schedules, prioritizing, allocating work assignments, and regulating production processes to meet specific daily production requirementsEncouraging continuous improvement in safety, productivity, quality and spendingYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:Possess a bachelor's degree or higher AND (1) year of plant manufacturing experienceORHigh School Diploma/GED AND (5) years of plant manufacturing experienceANDIn addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:One year of supervisory or leadership experienceAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Advanced supervisory experience in a manufacturing environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Software ToolsExperience in medical, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing (cGMP, ISO 13485)Ability to drive and influence change and lead cross functional teamsTraining and/or experience with Six Sigma and Lean ManufacturingExperience working in a union environmentExperience working with hazardous materialsExperience leading cross functional teamsWork location: Onsite - Meriden, CTShift: Nights 11pm-7amTravel: May include up to 5% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being Solventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
