Junior Golf Course Maintenance Groundskeeper

Job Description and Responsibilities: * Golf course maintenance/landscaping experience is preferred, but not necessary. * Positive attitude working in a team environment. * Must have some knowledge of the game of golf. * Performs physical labor with small hand tools and riding mowers on various parts of the golf course. * Weekend work required. Work shifts every other weekend. * Performs course maintenance assignments as directed by the Turfcare Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent * Maintains effective working relationships with SVCA staff, board members, and the public. * Promotes and supports workplace safety. * Undertakes other duties as assigned. * Must be 16 years of age and older with reliable transportation. Position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. * Be able to work in all weather conditions and able to lift 60+ pounds. * Golf privileges are included. * Full-time and part-time positions available. * Positions available from March 1 to October 31. * May become a full-time year-round position to the right candidate. Work Experience/ Educational Requirements: (Suitable work experience may substitute for Educational Requirements) * High School diploma or GED certificate * Previous work in Golf or Landscape maintenance Additional Requirements: * Ability to lift and move 70 lbs. * Must successfully pass a background check * Must have a valid WA State driver's license or ability to obtain one within 30 days
