Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Director, System Integration & Test to join our growing team. Reporting to the VP of Manufacturing, the Director of System Integration & Test will manage a team of System Integration and Test Engineers leading the build, test design, and execution of all Spacecraft. Key Duties and Responsibilities * Lead a diverse and hardworking team that performs testing and integration across the entire spectrum of spacecraft development and verification tests from unit level, through subsystem, and onto final assembly * Integrate, coordinate, and triage engineering support across integrated product teams and system-level test engineers * Recruit, hire, manage, and mentor a diverse team * Lead employees' professional development (e.g., performance evaluations, compensation and promotion management, and routine one-on-one development conversations) and coach them on career development * Provide both ROM cost estimates for all work within the System Integration and Test functions * Manage and plan all I&T Capital Support Equipment for multiple product lines and keep the factory in a working 5S condition. This technical scope includes working with the design and systems engineers to plan tests of the vehicle subsystems and ensuring the tests are designed to verify the pertinent requirements * Work independently to develop solutions, be accountable for the safety of the hardware and people involved in the test * Work directly with various customers both internal and external to ensure on-time delivery of spacecraft.
